Postdocs and PhD candidates
Short CV:
Andreas Ullmann is a PhD candidate at Universität Hamburg and research associate at Universität Potsdam. His research interest focuses on empirical approaches to the study of international institutions and organizations particularly in the fields of human rights, development, and trade and investment. He holds a B.A. in sociology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and an M.A. in political science with a specialization in comparative politics and area studies from Universität Hamburg. During his studies he worked as a research assistant at the Universität Hamburg and interned at the German embassy in Lomé, Togo. In his PhD project he is exploring the factors that shape state compliance with the UN human rights treaty bodies’ individual complaint procedures. |
