Profile: Short CV & Select Publications

Short CV:

Dr Ntina Tzouvala is an Associate Professor at the ANU College of Law and a Global Fellow at the NUS Centre for International Law. Her work focuses on the history, theory and political economy of international law. Her first book, Capitalism as Civilisation: A History of International Law, was awarded the 2022 ASIL certificate of Merit for a preeminent contribution to creative scholarship and the Australian Legal Research book award. Her work has appeared in leading journals, such as the European Journal of International Law, the Journal of International Economic Law and the Yale Journal of Law and the Humanities. She recently co-edited (with Foluke Adebisi and Suhraiya Jivraj) a volume on race, decolonisation and legal pedagogy, which will come out with Routledge in early 2024. She is currently working on two research projects, one on dollar hegemony and the international legal order and another on political economy, war and international law. She is a member of the editorial team of the CIL Dialogues blog.
