Short CV:

Kyle Reed is a political scientist whose research focuses on the strategic and political uses of international law and legal claims in international relations. In his current project, he is exploring the use and evolution of legal claims for the use of military force as a subject of legal contestation and method of law-making. He earned his PhD in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Southern California in 2022. He received an MA in Politics and International Relations (University of Southern California, 2019) and a MSc in Human Rights (University College Dublin, 2016). In Fall 2021, he was a Visiting Research Fellow at the Amsterdam Center for International Law and in Spring 2021 he taught international relations at Pepperdine University.
