Fellows
Short CV:
Hallvard Sandven is a post-doctoral research fellow, specialising in political theory. His research interests include theories of institutional legitimacy and practical authority; state transformation; migration; and republican political theory. Whilst at the Berlin Potsdam Research Group, he will be working on a project on the legitimacy of the global regulation of migration. Hallvard received his doctorate in Politics from the University of Oxford and defended his thesis ‘The legitimacy of border control: power and accountability in contemporary practice’ in July 2021. He has previously worked as a college lecturer in political theory at Magdalen College, University of Oxford. |
