Profile: Short CV & Select Publications

Short CV:

Andreas Buser is affiliated with the Berlin/Potsdam DFG Research Group “International Rule of Law – Rise or Decline?” and Freie Universität Berlin where he teaches courses in international law, constitutional- and human rights, and administrative law.
He currently is an Emile Noël Fellow at the NYU Jean Monnet Center for International Economic Law and Justice. At Freie Universität Berlin he pursues his Habilitation on planetary boundaries and their implications for law at multiple levels. His areas of expertise cover international environmental law, international economic law, human rights law, the law of state responsibility, EU-Law and German constitutional law.
Earlier Andreas had been involved in a cooperative research project with the University of Glasgow and had been an academic fellow at National University Delhi and Xiamen Law School. Andreas Buser is a fully qualified German lawyer. As part of his legal training he inter alia worked for the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy, the European Centre for Constitutional Rights, and the Berlin office of ClientEarth.
