Associate Fellows
Short CV:
Dr. Rishi Gulati is Associate Professor in International Law at the University of East Anglia. He researches, teaches and practices in all areas of public and private international law. His present focus is on
international and transnational dispute resolution, the law of
international organisations, technology and international law, and how
public and private international law interact in various settings.
Rishi has a PhD from King's College London which he undertook as a
Dickson Poon Scholar of Law, Advanced Masters in Public International
Law from Leiden University, and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the
Australian National University. He has held positions at Dublin City
University, London School of Economics and Political Science, and has
been a Laureate Research Fellow at the University of New South Wales.
He is the author or co-editor of several books and articles, including
International Organisations and Access to Justice (Cambridge
University Press, 2022), Elgar Companion on the Hague Conference on
Private International Law (Edward Elgar, 2020), Elgar Companion on the
United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (Edward Elgar,
2023 (forthcoming)), and The Elgar Companion on the Institute for the
Unification of Private Law (Edward Elgar, 2023 (forthcoming)). Rishi
has also worked as an international lawyer for the Australian
Government, as a Judge's Associate at the Federal Court of Australia,
regularly appears as counsel before international and national courts,
and has consulted for several UN agencies. |
