Professor Jutta Brunnée
University of Toronto
on Wednesday, 15 June on the topic
"The Global Climate Regime 1992-2016: Shifting Norms, Changing Structures and Moving Targets"
Jutta Brunnée is Professor of Law and Metcalf Chair in Environmental Law, University of Toronto. She is co-author of "Legitimacy and Legality in International Law: An Interactional Account" (Cambridge University Press, 2010), which was awarded the American Society of International Law's 2011 Certificate of Merit for preeminent contribution to creative scholarship. In 1998-99, Professor Brunnée was the "Scholar-in-Residence" in the Legal Bureau of the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. From 2006-2016, she served on the Board of Editors of the American Journal of International Law. Since May 2016, Jutta Brunnée is Senior Fellow with the Berlin Potsdam Research Group "The International Rule of Law - Rise or Decline?".
