NewsKFG welcomes new senior fellow: Campbell McLachlanOn 1 August 2018, Prof. Dr. Campbell McLachlan joined the Research Group as a new senior fellow.Campbell McLachlan QC is Professor of Law at Victoria University of Wellington, teaching Public International Law, Private International Law and International Arbitration and Dispute Settlement. In 2015, he was elected to the Institut de Droit International and is Rapporteur of its 18th Commission on Equality of Parties before International Investment Tribunals. Campbell McLachlan also practises international law. He is an Associate Member of Bankside Chambers (Auckland & Singapore) & Essex Court Chambers (London). He is a member of the ICSID Panel of Arbitrators, serving as President or member of a number of international arbitral tribunals under the auspices of ICSID, the PCA and the ICC. He holds an LL B (Hons) degree from Victoria University of Wellington, a PhD from the University of London and the diploma cum laude of The Hague Academy of International Law. During his senior research fellowship, Professor McLachlan will work on a new project on the Systemic Integration and Disintegration of International Law. In 2020, he will hold the Arthur Goodhart Visiting Professorship in Legal Science in the University of Cambridge.More information is available here. |
