News Events funding by Information on the funding programme	News Public Event: Thomas Franck Lecture by Terje Einarsen On 23 April 2018, the Research Group hosted a Thomas Franck Lecture by Professor Terje Einarsen, University of Bergen, on the topic “Decline of International Refugee Law?” Terje Einarsen is Professor of Law at the University of Bergen and Senior Research Associate at the University of London. He was previously a judge as well as a member of the immigration board of appeals in Norway. His areas of research include international criminal law, human rights law, refugee law as well as asylum and immigration law. Recently he has published works on the concept of universal crimes in international law, the universal asylum system and the right to refugee status.
