6 February 2017: Thomas Franck Lecture by Jean d'AspremontOn 6 February 2017, the Research Group hosted a Thomas Franck Lecture by Professor Jean d'Aspremont, University of Manchester, on the topic
Jean d'Aspremont is Professor of Public International Law at the University of Manchester, where he founded the Manchester International Law Centre (MILC). He also is Professor of International Legal Theory at the University of Amsterdam. He has acted as counsel in proceedings before the International Court of Justice. Professor d'Aspremont has published widely in the field of international law. His areas of research include, in particular, questions pertaining to Statehood, Sources of International Law, State Responsibility, the Law of International Organizations, International Dispute Settlement, International Humanitarian Law, and International Legal Theory.Watch the video of the lecture here. |
